Hai & Jules Wedding FAQs
Find answers to your questions about our wedding date here.
What is the dress code?
You can choose any color inspired by the picture of the venue included in your wedding invitation—such as tangerine, dark blue, olive, white, etc. We are going with semi-formal attire to ensure you are comfortable.
When should I apply for the visa?
As soon as possible! You can apply for the visa up to 6 months before your trip. For example, if you plan to arrive in France in July, you can start the application process in January. You can find more information on the official France visa website.
Can I make a speech?
Of course. Please let us know, or leave your information on the contact page. The speech organizer will contact you to arrange it.
How many nights I should book for the accommodation?
The main event will take place on July 5, 2025, so we recommend booking your accommodation for that date, as early as possible.
If you'd like to help us with event preparations, consider arriving a day earlier on July 4th.
If you'd like to stay longer, enjoy some extra time with us, you can stay an additional night on July 6th.
Please let us know if you plan to do so.
Here are our schedule for your reference:
July 4, 2025 (2–6 PM): We will check in at the venue and welcome early guests (mostly from Vietnam).
July 5, 2025: The wedding day! Check out our timeline for the wedding date.
July 6, 2025: A relaxed day starting with brunch at 11 AM at Château de la Plaudière, all guests are invited for the brunch, so don't forget to wake up! In the evening, we’ll gather, chill, play some games and enjoy a casual... venue cleanup.
July 7, 2025: We’ll check out of the château.
*Accommodation has been reserved for all guests coming from outside France from the 4th to the 7th of July 2025. If you prefer to stay for fewer than three days, please let us know.
Are we going to have a brunch? When and where?
We do! The brunch will be prepared for everyone at 11 AM at the Chateau Plaudiere on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
